Telehorn is the musical alias of Montréal-based artist and producer Jacobi Vanderham. A former actor turned alt-pop auteur, Vanderham launched Telehorn in Berlin in 2020 and is now based in Montréal. Drawing inspiration from eclectic influences like Beck, Prince, Joni Mitchell, and Radiohead Telehorn’s sound dances between synth-pop, folk, and funk, blending the melodic nostalgia of early 2000s alt-pop with lush orchestral and folk textures creating a sound that feels both instantly familiar and ethereal.

Telehorn’s acclaimed debut LP, The Gravity of See You Later, climbed to #2 on CJSR Top 30 and earned widespread national and international airplay. The release also garnered favourable coverage from Billboard Canada, Range Magazine, and Montréal Guardian

In addition to his solo work, Vanderham composes music for theatre, film, and dance, regularly collaborating with Toronto’s avant-garde dance makers Rock Bottom Movement, scoring three of their full-length productions to date.

Telehorn is currently collaborating with Nick Lanyon of Montreal’s experimental pop project, Rapallo, on an EP set for release in early summer 2025.
